Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise joins Alpha-3 Technologies alliance to drive digital inclusion in the Philippines

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, networking and cloud solutions tailored to customers’ industries, has partnered with the newly established Alpha-3 Technologies, Inc. in the Philippines, whose mission is to help provide reliable and affordable connectivity to remote areas and underserved communities with little to no internet connection. Alpha-3 Technologies, Inc. is an alliance of private companies, including UCAAS Sdn Bhd (Ulap), Trends & Technologies, and GBU Biz International Holdings Company, led by CEO and President Kristin R. Bangot.

As the Philippines strives to adapt to the “next normal” following the global health crisis, a stronger and more inclusive digital connectivity is critical to help organizations recover and adapt to new ways of doing business. To fully achieve this goal, solutions and technologies that improve connectivity infrastructure beyond the metropolitan areas must be applied.

Alpha-3 will utilize each partner’s strengths in advanced technologies, business solutions, and other customized services to support government projects and nurture competitive growth among multi-sectoral groups and enterprises. Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, the only technology vendor in the partnership, will leverage its capabilities to reach different sectors and build smart city infrastructure.

“We are proud to be part of the Alpha-3 alliance and to bring our expertise to the table. Our goal as a group is to help Filipinos adapt to digitalization. Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s digital-age networking solutions are fully tailored to support this type of digital transformation. Through our system integration and other advanced technology solutions, we hope to strengthen the alliance and enable more projects to come to fruition,” said Kit Andal, Country Manager for the Philippines, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

In addition to the partnership, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s solutions and product offerings are geared to help the Philippines to recover from the lingering effects of the health crisis. ALE is providing the reliable network, Wi-Fi and communication solutions, as well as new offerings like managed Wi-Fi and Smart City solutions, that government agencies and enterprises need.

According to Kit Andal, “The only way forward is to support one another. That is why ALE is developing and delivering sustainable solutions that can positively impact the lives of Filipinos through safe and secured connectivity.”
