The basic material is something called Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene or ABS plastic. It is an opaque thermoplastic. It is an amorphous polymer comprised of three monomers, acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene.
Top material:
Polycarbonate (PC) Polycarbonate is an extremely tough polyester compound, while heavier than polypropylene and ABS suitcase, polycarbonate bags are flexible and highly resistant to cracks.
Mid material:
Polypropylene, or polypropene, is also a type of thermoplastic polymer and the lightest of all thermoplastic products, making it an ideal material for any lightweight luggage range.
