Easter is going to be eggs-tra eggs-citing this year as the City of Firsts celebrates this season of renewal and revival with many fun events and activities that will surely be loved by kids and the kids-at-heart.
Get ready to have an eggs-ceptionally fun time at Araneta City this Easter with all the things it has in store for you!
1. Come with your Sunday’s Best at the Easter Party!
Have the kids join Araneta City’s Easter Costume Kiddie Party at the Gateway Mall (activity area) and Ali Mall (MacArthur entrance lobby) on April 17 and dress them up in their favorite costumes. It’ll be packed with super enjoyable things for everyone. Kids can show off their artistic side through the egg painting activity followed by an Easter Egg Hunt at the Gateway Mall and Ali Mall food courts.
There’ll also be a musical show from Madison Events at the Gateway Mall Activity Area. Kids who come in full costume can also win prizes and all participants can have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny! Attendees in Ali Mall can also show all their Easter trivia knowledge at the Q&A session that will be held there.
2. Take some eggs-tra cute selfies all over the City of Firsts!
Get the chance to score some colorfully fun and quirky selfies with the special Easter decor in Araneta City malls. Have your selfies or groufies taken at the life-size eggs seats at Ali Mall MacArthur entrance lobby and Farmers Plaza activity area, or eggs-plore the Easter Garden Maze at the Gateway Mall activity area. Be sure to get your snaps soon as decors will only last until April 24.
3. Strike a pose with the Easter Bunny!
If there’s one thing that kids get excited about when it comes to Easter, it’s certainly the Easter Bunny! Have the kids spend some quality time with the Easter Bunny as it makes a quick appearance at the Araneta City malls on April 17. Get your cameras ready and practice your best pose to make sure you get that perfect snap!
4. Eggs-plore our history and bring color to the lives of others!
For kids who’ll visit Gateway Mall on April 17, they can purchase Gateway Gallery’s interactive SiningSaya book, which celebrates the history and artistry of our people, at a special selling booth that will be found in the activity area.
Buying a book can also be a rewarding experience for the kids through the “Buy a Book, Share a Book” drive. For every copy they buy, another copy will be donated by Gateway Gallery to underprivileged kids.
5. Make your Easter Sunday shopping more rewarding!

All you need to do is find the Easter egg hidden in the artwork or caption to be posted on Araneta City’s social media page on April 10, 12, and 14. Take a screenshot of the Easter egg and leave it as a comment on the post. Lucky winners will get to take home ₱1,000 worth of GCs from PPI.
