SM City Sta. Mesa officially kicked off the Christmas season on October 26, 2024, with a dazzling Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony that brought a new vibe of festive cheer to the mall. Themed “City of Lights,” the event transformed the mall into a magical wonderland, radiating warmth and holiday spirit.

Mall Manager Ms. Joy Arsenio welcomed guests with heartfelt opening remarks, setting the stage for a memorable evening. The ceremony was graced by esteemed Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, who delivered an inspiring speech that captured the essence of the season.

The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of a magnificent 45-foot giant Christmas tree, adorned with shimmering gold and red accents, symbolizing the warmth and joy of the holidays. As the tree was illuminated, the Madison Performers took to the stage, captivating the audience with a dazzling production number featuring special guest Jerome Ponce, adding a touch of star power to the festive atmosphere.

Adding to the magic, Santa Claus himself graced the event, spreading holiday cheer and delighting children and adults alike. The “City of Lights” theme illuminated the mall with a vibrant energy, transforming it into a magical destination for families and friends to celebrate the season.
