A banker’s dream fulfilled at SMDC Shore Residences

When she was a kid, Rhodana Eledana already knew what she wanted to be when she grew up. She was fascinated with commercial banks. In college, she pursued that dream. Today, she is a banker.

Banker Rhodana Eledana is someone who knows what she wants and works hard to achieve it.

A self-driven and successful banker, Rhodana has been going nonstop in this career since the age of 21. But more than being just a banker, Rhodana aspired to connect with people. “I became a banker because I loved meeting people, particularly businessmen, and interacting with others gives me joy,” the 54-year-old bank officer shared.

The enjoyment of being with people eventually blossomed into an idea for a business.  A few years later, she wore the hat of an entrepreneur and ventured into the business of hosting people in her home.

“I wanted to own a property near the SM Mall of Asia and also have rental income from properties. I never thought that buying a unit at SMDC’s Shore Residences would let me become both a unit owner and an entrepreneur.”

SMDC’s Shore Residences was love at first sight for Rhodana. Liking the lobby design and top-rate amenities, she bought a unit during the pre-selling period.

“I was impressed with the lobby design, amenities, and beach resort-like atmosphere!

At that time, it was pre-selling and so affordable. I was able to select the level, unit number, and location, as well as the view of my unit!”

Rhodana considers SMDC Shore Residences a peaceful oasis in the city.

Rhodana acquired a unit at Shore Residences in 2019. She lived in her unit for about a year, and in 2022, she started to lease it out as short term rental to locals, international tourists, couples, and families.

“This unit will be a source of income even after I retire. My goal is to acquire more properties in various prime locations and open them for rent. And SMDC properties are perfect for my staycation business, because the projects are in prime locations and easy to acquire because of the easy payment terms.”

Rhodana is among those who believe that investing in rental properties is the best investment. And renting her unit to staycationers has been one of the best decisions of her life.

A little decor here and there helps prettify Rhodana’s condominium unit.

“To those who are thinking of investing, do it while you are still young. You can earn more than what you paid for when the time comes.”

SMDC Shore Residences is located in the vibrant business and entertainment district of Pasay City. The entire Shore Residences complex combines the luxury of a 5-star vacation resort and the comfortable, cozy home every Filipino has always dreamed of.
