KMVAsia Announces More Than 80% Occupancy for VIVE Montojo Environmental-Friendly Residence to be Completed by March 2021

VIVE Montejo, the residence of choice for start-up families, is almost completely occupied, announced its developer, KMV Asia Development, Inc. The property officially broke ground only in the middle of 2019, but has already exceeded expectations with around 35 units of its 40-unit capacity being sold to interested unit owners. Architect Kaydee Marie O. Velasco (KMV), founder and chief executive officer of KMV Asia, says that this signifies a shift in what families want for their homes.

Vive Montojo is a medium-sized, six-storey, environmentally-friendly structure located in Tejeros, Makati City. Other than being within the proximity of the Makati CBD, Vive is unique in its emphasis of eco-conscious materials and design. The living facility boasts of energy efficient designs which include natural ventilation and lighting, a rooftop garden, low VOC paint, and energy-efficient lighting, to name a few. The goal of the project was to provide a space that is both comfortable to live in and good for the environment. Based on the adjusted timelines of the pandemic, construction progress in Vive Montejo is now on steady progress.

When asked about her design, KMV says, “In our (condominium) developments, we have 10% less in saleable areas because we make sure our hallways are more open, artsy, and sustainable. Our hallways have graphics, have natural ventilation, mix of real and artificial plants.”

KMV believes that living well doesn’t mean living frivolously. People can live comfortably without damaging our natural resources or adding to the already-deep carbon footprint. With VIVE Montejo, she hopes to encourage more people to start living “green”.
