Midas Hotel and Casino Receives Safety Seal Certification from DOT

In line with the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) announcement encouraging businesses in the hospitality industry to acquire a “Safety Seal” certification, Midas Hotel and Casino is proud to receive its Safety Seal certificate from the agency.

The Safety Seal certification program of DOT ensures that all businesses carrying this seal implement stringent health protocols and complies with the minimum public health standards (MPHS). The program includes the use of the StaySafe.ph application in covered establishments.

The hotel prides itself in providing heightened safety protocols to ensure the well-being of its guests. Currently, it welcomes OFWs, returning Philippine residents, and foreign nationals. It also provides safe accommodation for essential travelers.

From its airport transfer vehicles and lobby areas, to rooms and dining outlets, Midas Hotel and Casino offers guests the tools they need for maintaining their optimum health and safety within its premises.

Sanitation facilities, floor mats, and body temperature checks are done in key areas of the hotel. Signages that work as reminders to guests to observe social distancing and prevent the spread of COVID-19 are also strategically placed in all of the property’s locations. The hotel’s rooms, dining locations, and offices are regularly sanitized to ensure the welfare of its employees and other stakeholders apart from its guests.

Guests checking in for essential stay or quarantine will have to take the necessary safety protocols including filling out a health declaration form.

For guests who want to dine in, the hotel’s restaurant outlets have tables with socially distanced seating for increased protection. All kitchen and service staff are equipped with PPEs and briefed with stringent protocols with regards to preparation and serving food and drinks. All its dining outlets are also sanitized regularly to ensure the health and safety of guests.

Midas Hotel and Casino’s restaurants are now open daily for a la carte dining. Sit-down buffets are available from Friday to Sunday, at Midas Cafe and Yanagi Japanese Restaurants from 11:30 am for lunch and 6:30 pm for dinner. Guests who love to drink coffee and sample some tasty desserts are in for a treat with the hotel’s Unlimited Sweets and Coffee promo, which runs for the whole month of June, from 2 pm to 5 pm daily, for only Php288 per person.
